Sarang Bangun Learning Center was founded in 1990. Its 
establishment came through the initiative of Sarang Bangun 
Foundation, as one major component of its programs aimed 
at addressing the aspirations of the Muslim communities in 
the Philippines, and their life as inspired by their faith, 
history and culture vis-a-vis the challenges of modern times

SBLC commits itself to the ideals of academic excellence 
and exemplary Islamic conduct for its pupils by offering both 
Academic and Arabic-Islamic courses. It advocates for the 
thorough understanding and promotion of the virtues we 
owe to Allah(s.w.t.), and the obligations we owe our fellow 
Muslim. Hence, the school's motto
